NZWWA - The Organisation

The NZWWA is a non-profit technical and educational organisation with more than 1300 members. Founded in 1958, the Association provides a neutral forum where all viewpoints of environmental management issues receive full consideration.

This nationwide network of members represents many disciplines: physical and social sciences, public health, engineering, law and management. The Association attracts decision makers and technologists from cental and local government, industry, the academic and research communities, consultants and service/equipment supply organisations, who exchange information about water and wastes issues.

The Assocation serves its members and the public by promoting environmental responsibility and providing technical and managerial leadership in the fields of water and wastes management.
