SIA is the general membership association for people and organisations involved with, or concerned about, stormwater in Australia.

They aim to provide the public, our clients and customers with peace of mind (by control of flooding) and a sustainable urban environment (through pollution management) using innovative and affordable stormwater management systems.

The mission of the Association is:

TO PROVIDE AN INTEGRATED STORMWATER INDUSTRY OF A QUALITY WHICH SATISFIES CUSTOMER NEEDS IN AN EFFECTIVE, EFFICIENT AND AFFORDABLE MANNER.

The Association:

publishes Waterfall Journal, a monthly Bulletin, Manuals of Practice, Conference Proceedings etc;

conducts seminars conferences and training programs;

supports the quality standards of the industry;

is organised with Chapters and committees in all States to better reflect local concerns;

conducts Community Education Programs;

represents the industry as appropriate; and

promotes the Association and its members as responsible, innovative, technically competent, environmentally conscious and market aware.
