Aquatec-Maxcon is a leading provider of water and wastewater technology and equipment in Australia. It was established in Ipswich, Queensland in 1970 where it has its head office and factory. It also has offices in Sydney and Indonesia. It is the only broad based water company in Australia with design, manufacture, installation and commissioning capabilities.

Aquatec-Maxcon and sister company Maxcon Industries has a wide range of expertise including qualified engineers (civil, mechanical, chemical, electrical and environmental), draftspersons, boilermakers, fitter and turners, painters and certified water and wastewater plant operators. It also has a long history of training staff at all levels and has been regularly recognised for excellence and its continuing commitment to training and apprenticeships.

Aquatec-Maxcon has proven itself to be internationally competitive and has exported successfully to countries including Vietnam, Singapore, New Zealand, Indonesia, China and others. In 2005 the company was contracted to complete Kubota Membrane Bioreactors at Tirau, Turangi and Te Aroha in New Zealand.
