Entech believes its renewable energy systems are an environmentally superior alternative to incineration and conventional waste-to-energy systems and cites US-EPA studies as proving that pyrolytic gasification waste-to-energy systems of the type developed by Entech produce less hazardous air pollutants (HAPs), including dioxins, than any fossil fuel, including natural gas. The green energy or “biofuel” produced is low-cost and eligible for carbon credits and renewable energy grants offered by governments worldwide.

Entech uses third-generation combustion technology known as pyrolytic gasification to convert biomass and waste into energy. The pyrolytic gasification process heats biomass and waste to covert the solid form into gaseous form. This is a combustible gas mixture called “syngas”. Syngas has similar properties to natural gas, except that the process off-gas is cleaner and contains fewer HAPs. Just like other combustible gases, the syngas can be fired into boilers, gas engines, fuel cells or other energy generators to produce clean energy in the form of electricity, steam or domestic heating.
