Fantech began operations in Melbourne and Sydney in 1973 as agents for independent manufacturers. We began to design and develop our own products in 1978. Our objectives then, as now, were quality, competitiveness, delivery and reliability.

Fantech is constantly alert to the latest developments in air movement technology and, over its history, has introduced many new products and concepts to our market. Every prototype is subjected to exhaustive in-house testing procedures to ensure optimum performance in the field. Testing facilities include two air flow rigs: one tested to BS848: Part 1, 1980, and the second to ISO5801:1998, and an insertion loss rig tested to BS4718:1971. We have total quality accreditation to ISO9002.
