  Overview

The Greywater Diverter Vessel Assembly is a patented simple gravity-operated wastewater plumbing invention that allows users to selectively divert, filter and recycle their used laundry and bathroom water for garden irrigation. The device has been authorised by wastewater and plumbing regulators for use Australia-wide and can be used wherever there is a desire to conserve water or reduce the volume of wastewater for disposal.

Other greywater recycling systems available have been either ad-hoc type arrangements and unacceptable to health and plumbing authorities or acceptable but large-tank or mechanical treatment/disinfection systems that are too expensive to purchase, operate and maintain when compared with the value of the water used. The invention, now available in Australia as the Nylex Greywater DivertaTM, provides a cost-effective and acceptable means of greywater recycling.

• requires users to spend only several minutes to regularly clear the filter of trapped lint and hair
• has a built-in failsafe feature so greywater automatically flows to the sewer if users forget to clean the filter or if the system becomes overloaded.

Originally developed, produced and sold by Greywater Saver with the same product name, it is now being mass-produced and sold under an IP licence agreement with the Nylex Corporation under the product name Nylex Greywater Diverta™.
