Dow PIR Tuff-R commercial high-load floors
With the highest insulation value of any foam sheathing available, PIR Tuff-R™ provides excellent insulation under-slab and over-slab, suspended beam, block and timber flooring applications.
PIR Tuff-R™ insulation features two strong exterior foil facers. The first is a continuous sheet of aluminium foil. The other is a Tri-Plex facer with a three-ply laminate of durable virgin kraft with aluminium foil on both sides.
A range of specialised facers to suit specific design requirements and Dow’s superior performance guarantee optimum energy efficiency and comfort all year round. PIR Tuff-R™ is manufactured with hydrocarbon blowing agents classified as having zero ozone depletion potential.

Dow Styrofoam Avance™ environmentally friendly insulation
The exceptional robustness of Styrofoam Avance™ provides the optimum insulating substrate for your roof, wall and flooring applications, including heavy load-bearing floors found in warehouses, cold stores, parking areas, residential and commercial buildings.
Styrofoam Avance™ has a combined high compressive strength rating, a long term retained R-Value and superior water resistant properties.
Styrofoam Avance™ extruded polystyrene is dimensionally stable, rot proof, will not attract vermin or insects and is resistant to most ground contaminants.
Styrofoam Avance™ uses a CFC- and HCFC-free blowing agent and is free from ozone-depleting gases.
